Ben Shapiro calls this “mainstreaming delusion”…

Say you’re planning on taking your kids to a baseball game…The sideshow of who is tossing out the first ball is usually a local dignitary or celebrity. In this case, the person is a transgender woman who goes by the stage name of “Crush”. Your thoughts?

The inside baseball on this event is that the gay community was upset with the Cardinal organization (see below) so now to get back in the good graces of the LGBT community, a transgender person is throwing out the first pitch.

A transgender woman will be throwing out the first pitch at an American baseball game for the first time in the country’s history on August 25.

The transgender woman, Tassandra Crush, will be throwing the pitch as part of the St. Louis Cardinals’ LGBT Pride Night, where they will square off against the Tampa Bay Rays at 8:15 p.m. EST. Fans attending the game will receive Cardinals’ hats adorned with a pride rainbow.

The Cardinals had previously irked the LGBT community by allowing Lance Berkman, who has been an outspoken critic of bills allowing men to use women’s bathrooms, to speak on their Christian Day, so the organization featuring Crush will certainly put them back in the good graces of the community.

While the Left will certainly celebrate over Crush throwing the first pitch, it is yet another example of how society is, in the words of Ben Shapiro, “mainstreaming delusion.”
