Lawyers representing President Trump in his second WITCH HUNT impeachment trial celebrated after his acquittal, declaring victory.

“We slammed it down on the mat and won this case. There’s no grappling anymore. We won. Not guilty,” Michael van der Veen, a Philadelphia lawyer who is part of Trump’s legal team, told reporters on Capitol Hill.

He spoke with CBS News following the acquittal of his client, President Trump, by the US Senate in the second frivolous impeachment attempt led by Nancy Pelosi.

Van Der Veen blasted CBS News hack Lana Zak who tried to defend far-left Democrat lawmakers who showed doctored evidence during the Senate impeachment trial.

Michaael van der Veen: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! That’s not enough for you? That’s not enough for you?

Lana Zak: I’m not a juror… Sir, respectfully, not everyone is following… I have not said it was OK. I want to be clear for our viewers…

Michael van der Veen: Listen, what has to happen… (interrupted) The media has to start telling the right story in this country. The media is trying to divide this country. You are bloodthirsty for ratings!… I can’t believe that you would ask me question indicating that it’s alright just to doctor a little bit of evidence. There’s more stuff that we uncovered that they doctored to be frank with you. And perhaps that will come out one day. But we won this case… And someone should look at the conduct of these House managers. It’s unconscionable!… Your coverage is so slanted it’s got to stop!

Van der Veen then lectured the CBS hack host, ripped off his microphone…and walked away!

Democrat congressional leaders decried the vote, accusing Republicans of ignoring evidence:

“Oh, these cowardly senators who couldn’t face up to what the president did,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters in a separate briefing after the vote.

The 43 senators who voted not guilty “are basically saying no amount of facts would have made any difference to them, because they didn’t think that the president was subject to the jurisdiction of the Senate,” Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin (D), the lead impeachment manager, added.

While some Republicans focused on how the trial was unconstitutional in explaining their not guilty votes, others said Trump’s words didn’t rise to the level of “incitement.”

“The House brought only one charge before the Senate: incitement,” Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said in a statement. “Donald Trump used heated language, but he did not urge anyone to commit acts of violence. The legal standard for incitement is very high and it is clear by the results of this vote that the House Managers failed to present a coherent standard for incitement.”

Trump in a statement after being acquitted thanked members of Congress “who stood proudly for the Constitution we all revere and for the sacred legal principles at the heart of our country.”
