As Republican Presidential candidates make the rounds in the early primary state of Iowa, President Donald Trump made an unconventional pit stop at a fraternity tailgate party for the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game happening on Saturday.

The party, which had hundreds of attendees, went wild as President Trump appeared outside of the Alpha Gamma Ro fraternity house.

In another viral video, Trump appeared to be touring the Alpha Gamma Ro house and was warmly received by members of the fraternity as he walked in to the room.

Some other Republican Presidential candidates were present at the game and tailgates, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Videos from Twitter appear to show a more muted reaction to DeSantis’ presence at the game.

Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy was also present at the game and was caught on video doing a shot of water with other tailgaters.

Polls on the Iowa Republican primary consistently show Trump with a commanding lead over DeSantis and other Republican candidates.

The most recent poll conducted by Civiqs and sponsored by Iowa State University shows Trump with a 37 percent lead over DeSantis, with the former President garnering 51 percent support to DeSantis 14 percent.

The Iowa vs. Iowa State football game is one of college football’s most-watched rivalry games and kicked off today at 3:30PM EST.

As of the mid-second quarter, the Iowa Hawkeyes led the Iowa State Cyclones 10-0.
