President Trump’s DOJ just put a GoodFellas gang member behind bars after a drive-by shooting that injured three people, including a 6-year-old child.
De’Andre Jackson, 23, of Clarkston, Georgia, was sentenced to 186 months in federal prison and five years of supervised release.
According to the Justice Department, Jackson and other armed GoodFellas gang members drove to an apartment complex in two vehicles to shoot a woman they believed was a snitch.
They opened fire, and the bullets hit the intended target, her young son, and a 14-year-old victim.

The details are brutal.
The intended target was shot six to nine times, her 6-year-old son was shot three times, and the 14-year-old was shot in the ear.
Prosecutors said about 50 shell casings were recovered from the scene.
The U.S. Department of Justice Office of Public Affairs said:
A Georgia man was sentenced today to 186 months in prison and five years of supervised release for using a firearm during a drive-by shooting at an apartment complex, resulting in multiple victims, including a 6-year-old child.
According to court documents, De’Andre Jackson, also known as “Gen,” also known as “Glock,” also known as “Glizzy,” 23, of Clarkston, and other armed GoodFellas gang members drove in two vehicles to an apartment complex, where they intended to shoot the intended victim whom they believed was a “snitch” and not loyal to the gang.
Jackson and others discharged multiple firearms and shot the intended victim, her 6-year-old-son, and another victim who was 14 years old.
The intended target was shot 6 to 9 times, her son was shot 3 times, and the 14-year-old victim was shot in the ear.
Approximately 50 shell casings were recovered from the scene.
Each victim survived.
This case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative that marshals the full resources of the Department of Justice to achieve the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) and protect our communities from the perpetrators of violent crime.
This is the part the soft-on-crime crowd always wants to skip.
When gang members spray bullets at an apartment complex, normal families are the ones who pay the price.
The FBI investigated the case, and DOJ said it falls under Operation Take Back America.
That matters because a federal sentence like this does more than punish one shooter. It tells every violent crew in the country that the new standard is consequences.
Jackson will spend more than 15 years in federal prison.
After a 6-year-old took three bullets in his own neighborhood, that is exactly the kind of answer the public deserves.
