With dates set for a funeral and other memorial services for the late Queen Elizabeth II, invitations are being issued to fill seats at Westminster Abbey and other venues to commemorate the life of England’s longest reigning monarch in history.

It is being reported, not unexpectedly, that Donald Trump was the recipient of such an invitation. Along with other living and former U.S. Presidents – including Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter. And it is causing leftist loons to erupt with indignant ire.

The Daily Mail notes that, due to spacing limitations in England, Trump would not be attending the actual funeral service. Instead, he and other surviving past presidents were invited to a D.C. memorial. The Daily Mail writes:

Donald Trump has been invited to attend a memorial service for the Queen in Washington, D.C., after missing out on the guest list for her funeral.

The former president, 76, is among those being invited by the British government to attend its U.S. event commemorating her life.

Current US President Joe Biden and his wife Jill will attend the Queen’s funeral in London on Monday, along with 500 other world leaders and foreign dignitaries.

But lack of space meant that the five former presidents – Trump, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter – did not receive invitations because there was only room at Westminster Abbey for current leaders from each nation.

Instead, they are being invited to the Washington service.

Worth noting is that the invitation isn’t even for a trip to England. With capacity hovering around just 2,200 for Westminster Abbey, Trump will wait until the Queen’s memorial service takes place stateside. He isn’t even attending the funeral and people are upset.

In typical and predictable arrogance and ignorance, Twitter erupted in buffoonish outrage:

The guy is under investigation for treason, this is unbelievable. No way would the late Queen want him at her funeral.

If Trump shows, arrest him. Also search Trump Tower for stolen security documents. Take the kid gloves off.

He won’t go because no one will want to talk to him and he knows it

Is it possible for Donald Trump to enter a church without bursting into flame? Just asking.

Hopefully this is just a ruse to get him into handcuffs and behind bars.

You dishonor Queen Elizabeth II legacy by doing this.

Why send an invite to this narcissistic and vile traitor?! He needs to be in jail and not attending any memorial service

Oh God! He’ll make it all about himself, telling everybody how she knighted him in private, because he was her favourite president!

You understand that the majority of Americans NEVER WANT TO SEE DONALD TRUMP IN DC AGAIN unless it’s in handcuffs. You know what he did in his last month there. You know how he disrespected the Queen. Tell your new king there is no up side—none, zero, zilch—to pacifying Trump.
