During the coronavirus press conference today, Peter Alexander lobbed an attack at President Trump disguised as a question accusing the president of giving a false sense of hope to Americans.

Alexander asked: “What do you say to millions of people who are scared?”

Trump called him out: “I say that you are a terrible reporter…. It’s a nasty question.”

Then CNN’s Kaitlin Collins had a mini-meltdown in Alexander’s defense.

CNN’s Kaitlin Collins follows up: “Do you really think going off on Peter, going off on a network is appropriate when the country’s going through something like this?”

President Trump responded: “I do.”

During the press conference, President Trump announced positive news coming from his administration and the feds. The only thing the media does is do everything they can 24/7 to try and destroy President Trump. It’s not helping the situation one bit.

The GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel tweeted out the positive moves from the administration:

President Trump just announced more important relief for Americans:

✔ Temporarily waiving all interest on federal student loans

✔ Not enforcing standardized tests

✔ Student loan payments are suspended for 60 days
