President Trump hammered the media today during the daily Coronavirus Task Force press conference.
The mainstream media has done everything it can since the president was elected to destroy him. One example from this week is outrageous (see below).
“I think it’s very clear that there are people in your profession that write fake news. You do.”

The Hill, Axios, NBC and other news outlets made the false claim that a man died after ingesting a medication touted by President Trump to be a possible cure for coronavirus. As it turns out, the Arizona man ingested fish tank cleaner and NOT the malaria drug President Trump discussed as a possible cure for coronavirus. NBC interviewed the woman (see below) who claimed she took advice from the president. She and her husband took one teaspoon each of fish tank cleaner that has a form of chloroquine in it! She’s blaming the president for her illness and her husband’s death.
Axios corrected their mistake but not until thousands of retweets spreading the fake news:
Axios Correction: “Editor’s note: This story has been updated to reflect the fact that the form of chloroquine the couple ingested was used in aquariums — and it was not a medication.”
The Hill has not corrected their mistake:
NBC correspondent Heidi Przybyla retweeted an interview from Vaughn Hillyard also of NBC with the wife of the man who died:
Woman in ICU: “Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure.” NBC: “What would be your message to the American public?” Woman: “Oh my God. Don’t take anything. Don’t believe anything. Don’t believe anything that the President says & his people…call your doctor.”
NBC: "Did you at any point hear that the FDA had not approved of it for coronavirus purposes or–?"
AZ Woman: "Yeah. But you know they kept saying that it was approved for other things…Trump kept saying it was basically pretty much a cure." https://t.co/fOcmiIeCGf

NBC: Did you see the President’s press conference? Where did you hear about–
Patient: Yeah. Yeah, we saw his press conference. It was on a lot, actually.
NBC: And then did you did you seek out Chloroquine?
Patient: I had it in the house because I used to have koi fish.
