President Trump spent his Thanksgiving Day thanking our U.S. troops in Afghanistan during an unannounced visit at Bagram Air Field.

Air Force One touched down in Afghanistan at 11:03 AM EST after a 13 hour overnight trip from JBA. Somehow, President Trump snuck out of Mar a Lago and flew out of an undisclosed airport in Florida on an off-the-record plane.

Without any confirmation about Trump’s plans for Thanksgiving Day, CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller snarkily reported that President Trump by his “count,” was making his “61st visit” to Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. Knoller also reported that Trump’s visit to his golf course “brings the number of days as Pres he’s been to a golf club to 224.”

Conservative comedian Mark Dice slammed Knoller, explaining to him that President Trump was not golfing on one of his own courses, but was instead, halfway around the world serving Thanksgiving dinner to our troops stationed in Afghanistan.”

Jessica Kwong, whose entire Twitter feed is filled with negative and hate-filled rants against President Trump or members of his administration, tweeted an article she wrote for the formerly respected Newsweek publication. The headline for Jessica’s article read: How Is Trump Spending His Thanksgiving? Tweeting, Golfing, and More. Was the “More” referring to him flying halfway around the world to serve Thanksgiving dinner to our troops? And if it was, why didn’t Newsweek say so in their title?

Donald Trump Jr. called Newsweek out for their fake news story, showing their tweet side-by-side with photos of his father with our troops in Afghanistan. Above the images, it read: “FAKE NEWS VS. REALITY.”

President Trump retweeted his son, Don Jr.’s tweet, and added the perfect comeback, slamming Newsweek for their dwindling audience, saying, “I thought Newsweek was out of business?”

After she was humiliated for making up the news in a disgusting attempt to make our Commander-in-Chief who was serving Thanksgiving dinner to our troops look bad, Kwong deleted her tweet. She never apologized for the error, but instead, made excuses for the fake news story, saying it was an “honest mistake.” Sorry, Jessica, there was nothing “honest’ about the hit job you tried to do on an innocent man who is regularly and unjustly attacked by our fake news media every day.
