At the same time that Biden is preparing his first trip to the southern border to address the unprecedented immigration crisis, President Trump layed out a policy to fight cartels and human trafficking.
The plan begins with reestablishing the border policies that were enacted under Trump, including continuing construction of the wall and e-verify policies.
Another element of the plan would instruct the US Navy, Special Operations, and the Pentagon’s cyber warfare contingent to be utilized against cartels.
Finally, Trump supports making drug smuggling and drug trafficking punishable by death and declaring cartels foreign terrorist organizations.
He went on to criticize Biden’s border policies that have allowed hundreds of thousands of Americans to die from fentanyl overdoses and posed a risk to the security and well-being of US citizens.
He ended by saying “BOTTOM LINE,” Trump’s statement ends, “Biden has destroyed the border—President Trump will destroy the cartels.”
The Post Millenial Reports–
Former President Donald Trump announced on Thursday that he would order the US military to declare cartels as enemy combatants if he were to be reelected president.
Trump said that he would deploy the Navy and Special Forces to defend the security of the Western hemisphere.
Trump made the announcement as President Joe Biden prepares to make his first trip to the southern border, after having previously said that there were “more important” things to deal with.
“The drug cartels are waging war on America—and it’s now time for America to wage war on the cartels,” President Trump said in his announcement. “The drug cartels and their allies in the Biden administration have the blood of countless millions on their hands. Millions and millions of families and people are being destroyed. When I am back in the White House, the drug kingpins and vicious traffickers will never sleep soundly again.”
