While President Trump was in Minnesota yesterday, he took time out to talk to a local KSTP 5- ABC News reporter about his chances of winning the state of Minnesota in the 2020 presidential race, taxes and jobs. He was asked about Democrat presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (MN) as well as U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the Muslim lawmaker who is best known for her anti-Semitic and flippant 9-11 remarks.

Trump was quick to brush off Senator Klobuchar as a serious candidate, saying that he doubts anyone outside of Minnesota even knows who she is. The president was asked if he could win the state of Minnesota in 2020? Trump responded by explaining how cuts in regulations, massive job growth, “record low unemployment,” as well as “tremendous tax cuts” will be enough to push him over the finish line with Minnesota voters. Trump confidently responded, telling the reporter, “I think I’m gonna win Minnesota. I think we’re gonna win Minnesota big.” He added,  “And I’m gonna treat Minnesota fairly on immigration. They have been treated so badly.”

The reporter told President Trump, “Congresswoman Omar sent out a release last night, saying that your tweet from a couple of days ago, has led to direct threats on her life.” He asked the president, “Any second thoughts about that tweet and the way it was produced and put together?”

Here’s President Trump’s tweet, including a video of Omar at a recent CAIR (Council for Arab Islamic Relations) event in Los Angeles. The video reveals Omar’s flippant attitude about 9-11, the worst terror attack on American soil in history.

Trump quickly responded to his question about if he regretted his tweet, saying, “No, not at all. Look, she’s been very disrespectful to this country. She’s been very disrespectful, frankly, to Israel. She is somebody that uh—doesn’t really understand life, real life—what it’s is all about.” Trump continued, by pointing out that Omar “needs to respect what’s happened in our country and “not always criticize” people who’ve been good to us. He explained, “It’s unfortunate. She’s got a way about her that’s very, very bad, I think, for our country. I think she’s extremely unpatriotic and extremely disrespectful to our country.”

Watch:

President Trump is the recipient of an untold number of death threats, against him and his family, that include public threats made by members of the Hollywood elite, and even Democrat lawmakers on social media. Meanwhile, Democrat Party leaders and hate groups, like Antifa, who support them, continue to stir up hatred for President Trump and his family, while the media places a target on our president’s back every day with their never-ending attacks and false accusations against him.

We certainly don’t want to belittle death threats against anyone, as they should never be tolerated, and anyone who makes them should be prosecuted and appropriately punished, but should the media be working as hard to point out the death threats our President receives as the ones Omar has claimed she’s received?
