With a year and a half to go before the 2024 Presidential election and roughly a year before the 2024 Republican Primary, President Trump is already alleging unfair treatment from debate organizers and the Republican National Committee (RNC).

The accusations sound similar to the ones he made during the 2016 Republican primary when he alleged that the Republican Party was giving him unfair treatment.

Already, Trump has threatened not to participate in the 2024 debates as he said that he was not consulted on the debate schedule despite being the top-polling candidate and alleging further bias due to the site of the second debate.

The primary field still remains relatively wide open as only Larry Elder, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy have officially declared their candidacy.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is still exploring a Presidential bid but has not made any official announcement, though he’s currently seen as the most formidable opponent to Trump in the primary if he chooses to run.

The first Republican primary debate is set to occur in Milwaukee in August of 2023.

The Daily Caller Reports

Former President Donald Trump threatened in a Tuesday TRUTH Social post to skip Republican presidential primary debates.

“I see that everybody is talking about the Republican Debates, but nobody got my approval, or the approval of the Trump Campaign, before announcing them. When you’re leading by seemingly insurmountable numbers, and you have hostile Networks with angry, TRUMP & MAGA hating anchors asking the ‘questions,’ why subject yourself to being libeled and abused?” he asked.

“Also, the Second Debate is being held at the Reagan Library, the Chairman of which is, amazingly, Fred Ryan, Publisher of The Washington Post. NO!” he added.

The first Republican primary debate will be held in August in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Republican National Committee chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced in February. Fox News and Young America’s Foundation will jointly sponsor the debate, which will be exclusively streamed on Rumble. The RNC is likely to require all debate participants to agree to support the GOP’s eventual presidential nominee, McDaniel said in February.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library will host the second primary debate, although McDaniel has not specified when it will occur.
