Things are heating up in regards to the 2024 presidential election.

While the other GOP candidates are fighting amongst themselves, President Trump is making big moves.

You may have missed it with everything going on Wednesday, but Trump was handed a fairly big victory by the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Democrats attempted to remove him from the 2024 election ballot via the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection clause.”

The tired argument that Trump incited or engaged in an “insurrection” has been disproven time and time again, but that hasn’t stopped the democrats from doubling and tripling down on the argument.

Much to their disappointment, the Minnesota Supreme Court just shot that argument down.

Try as they might, they can’t keep President Trump down!

One America News reported on Trump’s victory:

The Minnesota Supreme Court has allowed former President Donald Trump to remain on the state’s GOP primary ballot, as they rejected a lawsuit invoking the 14th Amendment’s “insurrection clause.”

This clause, which prohibits individuals who have “engaged in insurrection” from holding office, was the basis for the lawsuit. However, the court decided that state law permits political parties to choose their primary ballot candidates as they see fit.

The court’s decision is seen as a win for the former president in terms of the 2024 GOP primary, where he maintains a substantial lead in recent polling.

The democrats are desperate to stop Trump.

However, even the very liberal Minnesota Supreme Court knew this one was a losing battle.

The Gateway Pundit has more on the ruling:

Trump has not been charged with engaging in insurrection or rebellion against the United States.

Five of the Minnesota Justices, four of whom are Democrats, appeared skeptical that states can decide whether Trump can appear on the 2024 ballot.

Two of the justices recused themselves from the case.
