Going through the security check at the airport is always inconvenient and sometimes very invasive to some airline passengers. One agent is in hot water for allegedly getting way too invasive when he tricked a female passenger into showing him her breasts and letting him look in her pants.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) arrested the agent on Thursday for his actions against a woman at the Los Angeles International Airport last June. Last June?

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra said in a news release:

TSA Agent Johnathon Lomeli was charged with one felony count of ”false imprisonment for intentionally and unlawfully detaining an individual through the use of fraud or deceit.”

The statement from Becerra continued:

“Women deserve to be treated with dignity and respect everywhere. There is no excuse for this kind of alleged behavior. It’s not okay on the street, it’s not okay in our schools, and it’s certainly not welcome at the airport. At the California Department of Justice, we’ll continue to do everything in our power to hold those who break the law accountable.”

According to Fox News, the criminal complaint says that Lomeli allegedly stopped a woman at the Los Angeles International Airport, during a security screening. He said he needed to look in her bra and also told her to hold out her waistband so he could look down her pants.

Lomeli took the woman to an elevator where he told her to show her “whole breast” and then looked down her pants. He complimented her on her breasts before the extreme invasion of privacy was over.

He resigned a week after the incident and is now being held on bail.
