Last night, Tucker Carlson blasted Ted Cruz and other Republican lawmakers for going along with the Democrat’s narrative of what happened on January 6, 2021. He also expresses his frustration that everyone seems to have forgotten about Ray Epps and the mysterious role he played in inciting the storming of the Capitol.

“Remember Ray Epps?” asked Carlson. “He’s on video several times encouraging crimes, riots, breaches of the Capitol on January 6th. He wasn’t on the FBI website… Hasn’t been charged with anything apparently… No one in Congress seems to care, even supposedly ‘Conservative’ Republican Senators.”

The Republican political leaders, as Carlson is pointing out, should be doing something to figure out why people are being punished for being non-violent participants at the Capitol, but this man, Ray Epps, was actively encouraging violence but somehow is not receiving any sort of repercussions or investigation.

Carlson then calls out Republican leaders for “repeating the talking points that Merrick Garland has written for them.” He shares a clip of Ted Cruz describing the “violent terrorist attack on the Capitol”.

Carlson questions Cruz’s choice to describe the events of Jan 6 as a “violent terrorist attack”. He then poses an important question for Cruz, asking, “[W]hy are none of your Republican friends – who are supposed to be representing us and all the people who have been arrested during this purge – saying anything?”

“What the hell is going on here?” Carlson continued, “You’re making us think maybe the Republican Party is as worthless as we suspected it was.”
