Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey admitted that the social media giant’s staffers who have right-leaning political views don’t feel comfortable to speak up because of the company’s ultra-liberal work environment.

“We have a lot of conservative-leaning folks in the company as well, and to be honest, they don’t feel safe to express their opinions at the company,” Dorsey told New York University journalism professor Jay Rosen in an interview published on Friday by Recode.

“They do feel silenced by just the general swirl of what they perceive to be the broader percentage of leanings within the company, and I don’t think that’s fair or right,” he added. “We should make sure that everyone feels safe to express themselves within the company, no matter where they come from and what their background is. I mean, my dad was a Republican.”

Dorsey said that Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity were ”on the radio all the time” during his childhood but his mother ‘was on the opposite end of the spectrum” politically.

“I always felt safe to challenge both of them, especially my dad, and so it was definitely a privilege, but if we’re creating a culture that doesn’t enable people or empower people to speak up or not, we’re gonna be able to do that for our service,” he told the esteemed NYU professor.

The Twitter CEO recently told Fox News Radio that he understands why many conservatives are suspicious of the large tech companies, given the liberal-leaning culture of Silicon Valley.

“Twitter does not use political ideology to make any decisions, whether related to ranking content on our service or how we enforce our rules. We believe strongly in being impartial, and we strive to enforce our rules impartially,” he said in prepared testimony to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce obtained by Fox News. –Fox News

In a series of tweets on August 18, 2018, President Trump put social media giants like Twitter on notice over their censorship of conservative voices.

In his first tweet, Trump called out the censorship of “Republican/Conservative voices”, warning the tech giants that “we won’t let that happen.” Trump warned Americans that social media tech giants are “closing down the opinions of many people on the RIGHT, while at the same time doing nothing to others”.

Social Media is totally discriminating against Republican/Conservative voices. Speaking loudly and clearly for the Trump Administration, we won’t let that happen. They are closing down the opinions of many people on the RIGHT, while at the same time doing nothing to others…….

…..Censorship is a very dangerous thing & absolutely impossible to police. If you are weeding out Fake News, there is nothing so Fake as CNN & MSNBC, & yet I do not ask that their sick behavior be removed. I get used to it and watch with a grain of salt, or don’t watch at all..

….Too many voices are being destroyed, some good & some bad, and that cannot be allowed to happen. Who is making the choices, because I can already tell you that too many mistakes are being made. Let everybody participate, good & bad, and we will all just have to figure it out!

On the same day, President Trump’s 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale retweeted an article published by our good friends at Gateway Pundit, who like us, have also been the target of censorship by Facebook and Twitter.

Mainstream media and liberal activist networks like CNN, whose ratings are in the basement, are panicking, now that President Trump and leaders in the Republican Party are addressing the censorship of conservatives on social media.

This weekend, #VeryFakeNewsCNN host Brian Stelter interviewed Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, as CNN attempted to provide him with a chance to explain why they’re being called out by the President.

The whiny CNN host asked Dorsey, “The President called you for shadow-banning. What is the truth around that idea?”

Dorsey attempts to explain how they censor users while admitting they have a left-leaning bias, but don’t shadow-ban conservatives: “Look, shadow-banning is a very widely (laughs) defined term. There’s not one single definition. If someone puts out a tweet, hiding that tweet from everyone without that person who put out the tweet knowing about it.”

While Dorsey is admitting Twitter left-leaning bias, CNN keeps a permanent banner at the bottom of the screen that reads: “Twitter CEO We don’t’ discriminate against any political viewpoint”

Dorsey explains: “We need to constantly show that we are not adding our own bias, which I fully admit is left, is more left-leaning. I think it’s important to articulate our bias and to share it with people so that people understand us, but we need to remove all bias from how we act and our policies and our enforcement.”

Watch:

Watch, as Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey explains to Lester Holt of NBC News, how Twitter suspends or unpublishes accounts like InfoWars from their platform.

Meanwhile, liberal activists like actor Peter Fonda, who called for President Trump and Melania’s 11-year-old son to be kidnapped, placed in a cage, and raped, are still actively tweeting on Twitter.

It’s no wonder Twitter employees don’t feel safe working in an intoleran environment filled with an army of leftists…
