What in the world is going on when college football players resort to armed robbery of a fellow student! Two football players at Western Michigan University were armed with a knife and a semi-automatic weapon when they robbed a female coed. WTH!

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Two Western Michigan University football players are in custody right now, after allegedly holding up a female student with a semi-automatic weapon and a knife in an area off campus.

WMU officials confirmed that 20-year-old Bryson White, a wide receiver for the WMU football team, and 18-year-old Ron George, a linebacker for WMU football, were both arrested overnight in a car on campus with weapons and stolen money.

Original reports indicated that the robbery happened at Draper Hall on WMU’s campus where one of the suspects lived, but WMU officials have confirmed that it was a search warrant that was served at the location.
Jail records confirm they are in custody right now at the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office.
WMU’s football coach PJ Fleck released an exclusive statement to us about the incident.
“Having heard this news early this morning, I took action to immediately suspend both freshman players indefinitely.
