According to reports, at least 25 House Democrats may call on Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential election.
Reuters, citing a House Democratic aide, reports that the congressional Democrats are prepared to make the public call if Biden appears “shaky in coming days.”

Per Reuters:
But Biden is under pressure. Some donors have called for him to step aside, and other Democrats are worrying openly that he is not equipped to beat Trump in November.
There are 25 Democratic members of the House of Representatives preparing to call for Biden to step aside if he seems shaky in coming days, according to one House Democratic aide.
A second House Democratic aide said moderate House Democrats in competitive districts – often called “frontliners” – were getting hammered with questions in their districts this week.
A Reuters/Ipsos poll taken after the debate showed one in three Democrats think Biden should end his re-election bid.
One House Democrat, Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX), has already called on Joe Biden to step aside.

Another House Democrat, Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME), declared Donald Trump will win the election and he's "OK with that."

From the New York Post:
Centrist House Democrats in competitive districts – the lawmakers most at risk of losing their seats in November – were so alarmed by Biden’s infirmed appearance in last week’s showdown with the 78-year-old presumptive Republican nominee that they are considering writing a letter to Biden, according to the outlet.
Those lawmakers have been peppered with questions about Biden by constituents since returning to their districts for the House’s Fourth of July week recess.
“It looks like the dam has broken,” a second House Democratic aide told the outlet.
The report comes after Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas) became the first House Democrat to call on Biden to step aside over his shaky debate, in which the president repeatedly froze up on stage and lost his train of thought.
Rep. Jared Golden (D-Maine), also on Tuesday, expressed that he had no confidence in Biden’s ability to beat Trump in November.
As did Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.), who told local outlet KATU, “The truth I think, is that Biden is going to lose to Trump.”
