Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is planning a meeting with King Charles just days after having a heated meeting with President Trump at the White House.
On Saturday, Zlenesky met with Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss a loan agreement.
Zelensky is now planning to have a diplomatic meeting with King Charles in Sandringham.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet European leaders at a vital summit in London on Sunday, after his extraordinary argument with US President Donald Trump in the Oval Office left Western allies reeling and threw the future of the Russia-Ukraine war into deep uncertainty.

But between niceties, a crucial day of diplomacy looms. The West hopes Sunday’s summit will revive momentum towards an acceptable peace deal that had appeared to be slowly building this week, only to come crashing down in a nasty few minutes on Friday.
Starmer told the BBC on Sunday morning that he will work with France, Ukraine and “possibly one or two others” on a plan to stop the fighting, which he will then present to the US.

His appearance at church comes ahead of a meeting with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, which is set to take place later today.
The meeting follows a brutal bust-up between Donald Trump and Zelensky, which the Ukrainian insists he will not apologise for.
It won’t be the first meeting between Zelensky and King Charles: the two met in February 2023 at Buckingham Palace, before speaking again last Summer at Blenheim Palace during the European Political Community summit.
The president described his time with the King in February as a ‘truly special moment for me, for our country’.
