Progressives and Globalists love to divide and conquer while ignoring or shifting blame for the destruction their actions have caused. In the latest case of dividing people by race in order to create more chaos and crises, the self-proclaimed “Most Unapologetic Sanctuary City” of Oakland and its far-left mayor Schaaf are taking money and giving it only to certain minority groups. In addition, they use the money to promoting single motherhood and intentionally exclude thousands of others because of their race.
“Oakland Resilient Families, said it planned to steer half of the monthly checks towards black, indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) in East Oakland.” This comes as the city has seen massive economic devastation due to its progressive leadership’s policies which have created a homelessness crisis. Homelessness has risen “by nearly 50 per cent between 2017 and 2019.” Could this have been to to Mayor Libby Schaaf’s failed processive globalist policies–like making the city an unconstitutional Sanctuary City that welcomes criminals?
“A program to give $500 monthly checks to low-income families of color in Oakland, California, has been criticized for explicitly excluding the 10,000 white residents living in poverty in the city.
The lottery system, funded by private philanthropists, will see the no-strings-attached checks go to households with an annual income of less than $59,000 if they have at least one child. The other half of the $500 checks will go to those earning under $30,000.
According to data from an Oakland Equity Indicators Report, cited by officials to justify favoring people of color, white households earn about three times that of African-American ones.
The same report states around 8 per cent of the city’s white residents, approximately 10,000 people, live in poverty.
Schaaf told the Associated Press the reason for limiting eligibility to black, indigenous and other people of color was that white households in Oakland make on average about three times as much as black households.
Mayor Schaaf said: ‘We have designed this demonstration project to add to the body of evidence, and to begin this relentless campaign to adopt a guaranteed income federally.’
“The announcement sparked an angry debate online, as hundreds of commentators on Reddit were critical of the move.
One commenter labeled it ‘pure racism’.
‘Is this even legal? Can a city government legally have a program that’s only for certain races?'”
Of course, these commenters are correct. It is racist and illegal for government to promote policies and actions that discriminate against people based upon race. But the program also fails in more nuanced ways as well, suggesting that little care for critical thinking was used in creating the policy:
Another commenter stated that “…’The high income earners in Oakland are mostly young transplants that did not grow up in Oakland. They should have done research on upward social mobility in Oakland and restricted based upon that. But I guess that’s too much work.'”
So, according to the (racist?) Oakland mayor, because some white people make more money than some black people, the 8% of white people who are actually very poor in Oakland must not be treated equally or with any dignity at all.
Do you think such policies designed specifically to define people and policies based upon race will unite Americans? Or are they instead designed specifically to create artificial divisions and tribalism amongst a country that–until the past few years–was very unified on average?

It states she was inspired in part by Stockton, California, which in 2019 started giving some residents earning under $46,000 per year a monthly check of $500.”
There are laws in America specifically written to disallow businesses and policies that discriminate against people based upon race. Yet, if you discriminate against white people, it is apparently acceptable practice in progressive cities, like Oakland.
“Stockton’s plan, launched under previous Mayor Michael Stubbs, has been widely praised as bringing greater economic prosperity to the city, and identified as a potential blueprint for a Federal universal basic of income.”
The city of Stockton gave just 125 people out of over 300,000 UBI money. The radicals in Oakland want you to believe that, because Stockton claims to have had marginal success with their non-racial UBI program, scaling such a program to a city of over 400,000 people and giving money to tens of thousands and based upon race is somehow equivalent.

This is a completely unscientific and untenable assumption and it will break America’s constitution and rule of law without any doubt. Why is critical thinking intentionally omitted by these lawmakers and leaders? Because they are all practicing critical race theory, which has as its very foundations the destruction of rational thinking in favor of emotional subjective lived experience based upon no scientific or rational thought whatsoever.
The same people that created policies to create poverty and homelessness on a massive scale in Oakland without accepting any responsibility are now demanding that racist economic policies be put in place.
