Harvard Law professor Laurence Tribe is a regular guest on the #VeryFakeNewsCNN cable network. For liberals who crave the voice of an arrogant academic, who, when he’s not spewing anti-Trump rhetoric on CNN, is paid to fill young college-age minds with hate, intolerance, and anger, Harvard’s Professor Tribe is your guy.
Today, during his appearance on Chris Cuomo’s “New Day”, Tribe made a reference to the shooting and killing of President Donald Trump.
While discussing a book that Tribe co-authored, “To End A Presidency: The Power Of Impeachment,” Chris Cuomo warned that “Democrats shouldn’t be rushing down the road of impeachment.”
“But [impeachment] will be available only if we don’t use it loosely, and ring the bell every time something looks amiss,” Tribe said. “You can’t be the boy who cried wolf and have a viable impeachment power. You can’t use it over and over again against the same president.”
“If you’re going to shoot him, you have to shoot to kill,” Tribe continued. “And that requires an overwhelming majority of a bipartisan kind. Otherwise, you’re just going to nick the guy, and make him feel empowered and vindicated.”
Oddly enough, Chris Cuomo doesn’t even attempt to clarify Tribe’s comments.
