Univision anchor Enrique Acevedo might want to read below about the seven times border patrol agents were attacked with rocks thrown at them by illegals. He suggests that we forget about the wall and just have border patrol agents dodge rocks thrown at them. He also mentions that it would be cheaper for border agents to dodge the rocks.

Fox News’ Marcha MacCallum was perplexed when after she described the solution on the border that Acevedo mentioned his outrageous solution as a better alternative:

“Just listening to the woman with the customs and border patrol, Enrique…describing that they had rocks getting thrown at their agents. She said this is so much better having the wall they can see through because they can see what’s coming at them from the other side and it helps, you know, keeps them safer in their job. That sounds like a good thing, right?”

Acevedo came back at MacCallum with his solution to just dodge the rocks:

“Well, it’s always a good thing when we can keep border patrol agents, federal agents safer. I would just ask you, Martha is it worth $25 billion to keep people 100, 200, 300 yards away from the border to throwing rocks at agents on the other side when you just do this. Is that worth $25 billion?

You can hear it in her voice. MacCallum just couldn’t believe what she heard.  This man expects border agents to “just dodge the rocks”!

“They should dodge the rocks? You think they should just dodge the rocks?”

BREITBART NEWS REPORTS: A recent report from U.S. Customs and Border Protection revealed the number of assault incidents against agents increased 18 percent during the first 11 months of Fiscal Year 2018.

Here are at least seven assaults on Border Patrol agents by migrants involving rocks:

1: October 16, 2018 — Three Border Patrol Agents Assaulted in Five Days

2: September 16, 2018 — Two Border Patrol Agents Assaulted at Texas Border

3: July 12, 2018 — Border Patrol Agents Assaulted with Rocks While Rescuing Pregnant Migrant

4: June 5, 2018 — Smugglers Attack Border Patrol Agents with Rocks

5: April 21, 2018 — Four Border Patrol Agents Assaulted near Texas Border

.6: March 27, 2018 — Assaulted Border Patrol Agent Renders Aid to His Attacker

7: December 31, 2017 — Border Patrol Agent Hospitalized After Rock Attack

“This is an all too common occurrence,” said San Diego Sector Chief Patrol Agent Rodney Scott. “In Fiscal Year 2017, San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents were assaulted 83 times in the performance of their duties. 52 times in Fiscal Year 2016. The safety and well-being of our agents remains our top priority.”

A great solution might be to put reporters on the border with border agents so they can see what it’s like down there.
