Joe Biden ended his presser today by laughing while calling on Fox News reporter Peter Doocy.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Biden if he takes responsibility for the chaos during the withdrawal from Afghanistan:

“There had not been a U.S. service member killed…in Afghanistan since Feb. 2020…You pulled troops out. You sent troops back in & now 12 Marines are dead. You said the buck stops with you. Do you bear any responsibility for the way that things have unfolded…”

Biden immediately tried to throw President Trump under the bus. Nice pivot from Biden but Americans aren’t buying his blame game.

“I bear responsibility for, fundamentally, all that’s happened of late,” Pres. Biden says, then adds, “you know as well as I do that the former president made a deal with the Taliban.”

“I have never been of the view that we should be sacrificing American lives to try to establish a democratic government in Afghanistan—a country that has never once in its entire history been a united country.”

“It was time to end a 20 year war”… Asked if he stands by his decision to remove US forces from Afghanistan by 31 August, President Biden says he does, adding there are now “greater threats coming out of other countries a heck of a lot closer to the US”

Biden cut reporters short saying, “I have another meeting, for real.”

Is Peter Doocy the last reporter in DC?
