Luckily, the veteran working behind the counter of a convenience store in San Francisco, California was armed and ready when two men came in and attempted to rob the store. Who knows what would have happened if he hadn’t been armed.
Mark Kasprowicz was manning the cash register inside the convenience store when the two armed, masked men entered.
Video below of the incident shows one of the men brandishing a semiautomatic weapon. He jumps behind the counter where Kasprowicz was standing and hit him with the gun.
Kasprowicz struggled to gain control of a gun he had stashed behind the counter.
The video below shows Kasprowicz firing his weapon at the suspect.
