Easter is a Christian day of worldwide worship and celebration, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However, when Biden took to social media to wish everyone a ‘Happy Easter’ there was little mention of the holiday, instead focusing on Coronavirus and promoting the vaccine. The video centers around the promotion and importance of COVID-19 vaccines rather than the holy day itself.

In an attempt to include some aspect of faith, Biden does choose to quote the Pope in his video. However, rather than focusing on anything related to faith whatsoever, he instead chooses to remind everyone that Pope Francis says “getting vaccinated is a moral obligation”.

As someone who claims that his faith leads not only his presidency but also his life, Biden made little effort to demonstrate this in the video.
