TIGER WOODS  was asked some leading questions by reporters trying to corner him to make a comment on President Trump but he dodged with a great answer:

“Well, he’s the President of the United States. You have to respect the office. And no matter who is in the office, you may like, dislike the personality or the politics, but we all must respect the office.”

The reporter had asked if Woods would comment on the “special relationship” he has with President Trump. He probably wasn’t expecting the answer he got! The left went nuts after Woods’ comments. ESPN anchor Max Kellerman went berserk on Tiger Woods for saying he respected the office of the president. Kellerman claimed the comments were “thoughtless”.

Tiger Woods has known President Trump for a number of years and had this to say:

“Well, I’ve known Donald for a number of years. We’ve played golf together. We’ve had dinner together. I’ve known him pre-presidency and obviously during his presidency.”

The president tweeted support to Tiger after the golf legend didn’t respond in the manner the media wanted:

FAST FORWARD and Golf legend Jack Nicklaus just backed Tiger Woods’ comments about respecting the President of the United States in an interview Wednesday on “Fox & Friends.”:

Nicklaus expressed his support for Tiger:

“No matter who’s president…whether it was Barack Obama or Donald Trump. I think you respect the office, and I’m much in Tiger’s camp on that.”

Jack Nicklaus is a Trump supporter who said during the 2016 election that Trump was “awakening the country.”

OUR PREVIOUS REPORT ON NICKLAUS’ SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP:

FROM MAY 2016:

What’s not to love about this? One of the greatest pro golfers ever is on the Trump Train! Jack Nicklaus knows Donald Trump and had this to say about him: “Actually, Donald’s terrific” isn’t it so true that the greatest Americans have come out in support of Donald Trump? Doesn’t that tell you so much about him? If people like Jack Nicklaus are vouching for Trump then who cares about RINO Paul Ryan’s endorsement?

In an interview with Jim Axelrod, eighteen-time major winner Jack Nicklaus said he is supporting Donald Trump for President.

“Actually, Donald’s terrific,” Nicklaus said. “I’ve done several things with Donald. Golf courses. And he has absolutely treated me great.”
