A Miss New Jersey beauty contestant was asked what she feels is the most important thing facing her generation. She gives an unexpected answer in support of free speech and against censorship. It’s shocking to hear her honest answer instead of a cookie-cutter answer to please the judges.

She calls out her professors and others who tried to silence her on her college campus.

The contestant tweeted out after the pagaent saying she would do it all over again:

“This was my onstage interview for Miss New Jersey. I didn’t win. I didn’t even place. But I wouldn’t have changed a single word.”
