A very awkward moment happened today when RINO Rep. Liz Cheney clashed with Republican leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy.

The two were standing just feet away from one another at the weekly Republican press conference when Cheney disagreed with top Republican Kevin McCarthy.

In the video below, both are asked if Trump should address CPAC this weekend. Watch as Cheney openly defies comments by McCarthy that Trump should address CPAC.

McCarthy says, “yes, he should,” and then Cheney says, ‘That’s up to CPAC. I’ve been clear on my views and the extent to which following January 6th, I don’t believe that he should be playing a role in the future of the party or the country.’

Cheney has been outspoken on her dislike for President Trump and was one of ten Republicans who recently voted to impeach President Trump. The two had disagreements on foreign policy. She opposed Trump’s effort to withdraw troops from Afghanistan.

McCarthy closed the presser by saying, ‘On that high note, thank you very much.’
