During a town hall with Essence, Rep. Maxine Waters boasted that she’s confident there will be a Black woman as VP on the ticket with Joe Biden.
“Let me guarantee you this, based on everything that I know and understand, and the help that [Biden] has already gotten from the Black community…he can’t go home without a Black woman being VP. We’re going to have a Black woman.”
Axios reports that Kamala Harris and Susan Rice are the two remaining candidates for VP.
These two women are loaded down with baggage from past incidences. Will Biden sink his chances by promising a Black woman as VP and then picking a candidate with too much baggage?
