The brilliant commentary from Mike Rowe of the Dirty Jobs TV show has uplifted Americans for years. He’s loaded with wit and common sense…plus, he’s a great patriot. Rowe is currently hosting a Facebook series called “Returning the Favor,” in which he seeks people doing good deeds.
His latest video commentary is fantastic and just happens to be about a book that one of his fans sent him. He claims that this is:
“A brief message for anyone who has ever encouraged me to get into politics…”
Stephen Shepard, the author of the book The Nation We Knew, added Rowe on page 40, where he meets the 47th POTUS, who happens to be a woman. The POTUS wants Rowe to be the infrastructure and education guru. Interesting…
After Rowe reads a passage he’s in; he laughs and says:
“Are you kidding me? Full disclosure…I can’t recommend the book because I haven’t read it yet. That is as far as I got…I’m on page 43. I kind of scrolled ahead looking for my name, and it is in there a bunch. I pop up in this thing. It’s a small thing, but it is kind of flattering.”
