Earlier today, excerpts from Biden’s speech tonight were released. CNN’s Jim Acosta tweeted out a photo (see below) of one part of Biden’s speech that is beyond outrageous:
Remember that Biden said he was going to unite Americans. He’s done NOTHING but divide us since he took office. He makes excuses for the months of riots by Antifa/BLM by calling them an “idea.” Instead of denouncing these radical groups, he’s ginning up January 6th like it was the “worst attack” on our democracy since the Civil War. What about Pearl Harbor, 9/11?
The truth is, calling January 6th the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War is a BIG lie promoted by Biden and Democrats. The incident played right into the hands of the Democrats, who have been using it to their political advantage by calling it a full-blown “insurrection.” The saddest part is that the only person killed on January 6th was Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt. Do we know the name of the officer who shot her yet? No! Also, even though Biden used the death of a Capitol police officer for political theater, the officer died of natural causes and NOT because of what happened on January 6th.
The video of Biden saying Jan. 6th was the worst attack since the Civil War is below. He says what he’s told to say, so whoever wrote the line for him is stirring the political pot. Conservatives on social media went bonkers about this line in Biden’s speech…and they should.
Our favorite comment is from Sean Davis:
“Joe Biden is a hateful, divisive, dishonest, dementia-addled buffoon controlled by delusional, left-wing Bolsheviks who hate America and are actively (and successfully, so far) doing everything in their power to destroy this country. Pass it on.”
Social media erupted with outrage and disbelief that what happened on January 6th would be considered “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War”:
Biden declaring January 6 “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War” is insultingly ludicrous. Politicians will be on their death bed decades from now recounting the grave emotional toll of Congressional activity being delayed for a couple hours

Tim Young called out the BLM/Antifa riots:
January the 6th wasn't anywhere near a civil war… However, ANTIFA's months-long riots and claiming of autonomous zones are.

Steve Cortes:
Biden just called the Jan 6 riot – which was illegal & totally unacceptable – the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.
So…Pearl Harbor, presidential assassinations, 9-11…all less threatening to our democracy than a bunch of unarmed fur hat hooligans? pic.twitter.com/qf86p4cF7H

Biden’s comment about Jan.6th:
Biden says the January 6 protest was the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War. Surprisingly, the room did not break into uncontrolled laughter at this ridiculous claim. pic.twitter.com/7ZcOWTbbPZ

For anyone who missed the speech, it reminded us of some old guy yelling, “Get off my lawn!”
