Rep. Ilhan Omar just claimed she doesn’t know why it’s controversial for Alexandria Ocasio Cortez to say that border detention centers are like concentration camps.

She goes on to say that because people are concentrated in camps that it’s perfectly fine to call them concentration camps.

Wow! Minnesota sure can pick some winners!

Rep. Ilhan Omar agrees with AOC that ICE has “concentration camps” on the border because there are “camps and people are being concentrated.”

Is she REALLY that ignorant or is she blowing off the Holocaust?

Pelosi must be so proud…

REMEMBER THAT OMAR REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE FOR HER ANTISEMITIC COMMENTS:

United States Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) sat down for an interview with KARE 11’s Jana Shortal. During their discussion, Shortal asked Omar about her anti-Semitic remarks, as well as her flippant “some people did something” remark in reference to the Islamic terror attacks that took place in American on 9-11, during a recent CAIR event in Los Angeles.

Shortal asked Omar, “Let’s go back in time. On February 10 you responded to a tweet with the words, “It’s all about the Benjamins baby.” Do you regret that tweet? ”

Omar responded, “Regret is a strange word.” Omar laughed.

Shortal reminded her that her remarks were very offensive to a lot of people, saying, “It upset many Jewish Americans, many Jews around the world, and a lot of Jews in the 5th District.”

Omar responded by acknowledging her comment but refusing to respond to it. Omar looked at Shortal and made the “M…hmmmm” sound.

It felt as though Shortal was almost begging Omar to apologize, as she asked her to respond to her question, “What do you say to them?”

Omar refused to explain her tweet, instead, she explained that the “regrettable” part for her was that she upset her Jewish constituents.

Yeah, for me, that was the regrettable part.

Shortal said, “You apologized for that tweet.”

“I did,” Omar told Shortal.

“Do you still believe in your apology?” Shortal asked. “Would you apologize again today?”

Omar explained that she would apologize again, not because she was wrong, but because she “would not be a good human” if she didn’t.

When Omar was asked about her 9-11 remarks at a CAIR fundraiser, and if she understood how calling Islamic terrorists on 9-11, “some people who did something,” upset people? Shortal explained, “Some people are offended by those four words. They suggest that you were not describing that day accurately, as they were just some people. What would you say to that?” Instead of apologizing for the words she used to describe the 9-11 terror attack, Omar relied on her victim status,  saying, “I think that there is particular bias and a particular lens that people sort of um, critique the words I use. And that is not a bias or a lens that I can get rid of with one answer or one conversation.”

Watch the disturbing exchange here:

In January, Omar was called on the carpet over offensive remarks she made about Senator Linsdey Graham (R-SC). Many felt that Omar was attempting to convince her followers that Graham is a closet gay and that someone had evidence of him being gay and were using it as blackmail to force him to support President Trump.

During the interview, CNN hosts, Jim Sciutto and Poppy Harlow didn’t hold back any of the serious questions that actual journalist should be asking of the radical anti-Israel Congresswoman.

Things really got ugly for Omar when CNN host Jim Sciutto asked Omar about a tweet from that went viral about the Republican Senator.

CNN host Jim Sciutto asked Omar about her tweet, as CNN placed it up on the screen for their viewers. Sciutto asked, “We need to ask you about this. I wonder if you would explain what are you talking about there. This has sparked a fair amount of criticism.”

Omar, who appeared again, to be stunned by his line of questioning, responded nervously, all while trying to maintain a smile on her face, “So, over the last three years, we have seen many times where Sen. Lindsey Graham has told us how dangerous this president could be if he was given the opportunity to be in the White House and all of a sudden he’s … made a turnaround. I am pretty sure that there is something happening with him, whether it is, you know, something that has to do with his funding when it comes to running for office, whether it has something to do with the polling that they might have in his district [sic], or whether it has to do with some sort of leadership within the Senate. He is somehow compromised to no longer stand up for the truth and is fighting to protect the oath that he took in serving the American people.”

Both CNN hosts seemed to be stunned when she claimed that she was “pretty sure” that “he is somehow compromised.” Sciutto appeared to be stunned by her poor explanation for her unfounded accusations, saying, “But that’s quite a charge to make. You say you’re ‘pretty sure’, based on what evidence? What facts? That’s a remarkable comment to make about a sitting U.S. Senator.”

Omar then stuttered and attempted to explain her lie, “The..the…the… the evidence really is um, present to us. It’s being presented to us in the way he’s behaving.”

CNN host Poppy Harlow, who appeared to be at the end of her rope with Omar, chimed in, “But that’s not evidence! That’s your opinion.”

Omar, quickly responded, “My tweet was just an opinion, based on what I see to be visible to me.” She then attempted to claim that other Americans certainly agree with her.
