Congress was informed several times during Obama’s administration that refugees cannot be vetted properly so they are a terror risk to the U.S. President Obama proceeded to import thousands and thousands of Muslims from terror spots all around the Middle East even though the government was told there was no way of knowing if they were connected to terror. Fast forward to this week and there is a perfect example of why the government should have listened:
Fox 10 Phoenix is reporting breaking news that Officials with the U.S. Department of Justice say two refugees from Somalia have been arrested in Tucson and accused of providing material support to ISIS terrorists.
The FBI had been tracking the two refugees for months up until they arrested the men as they attempted to fly to Egypt to join ISIS:
Ahmed Mahad Mohamed, 21, and Abdi Yemani Hussein, 20, were arrested at the Tucson, Arizona airport after they checked in for their flight to Egypt. It’s being reported that they were trying to fly to Egypt and travel to the Sinai region to join ISIS.
Undercover FBI agents had been talking to Mohamed and Hussein who they believed were supporters of the ISIS terrorist ideology. Mohamed and Hussein told the FBI undercover agents that they want to leave the U.S. to fight for ISIS or plan and carry out an attack in the U.S.
Investigators say at the time of the arrest, Mohamed was a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., while Hussein was still a refugee.

According to data at Wrapsnet.org we have admitted 2,959 Somalis to the US in the first ten weeks of FY2017, that is highest rate in the over 30 years we have been admitting them.
Bush’s 2004 number of 12,814 will be dwarfed if Donald Trump doesn’t follow through on his campaign promise to halt the flow of refugees from terror-producing parts of the world.
Virtually all Somalis are Muslims and very few come in to US outside of the Refugee Admissions Program. Although some do come illegally across our borders and then apply for asylum.
