A Queens, New York teen has been arrested for allegedly wanting to commit an act of terror.

The suspect, identified as Awais Chudhary, came to the attention of investigators in an online chatroom.

Awais allegedly was trying to buy a tactical knife for a terror attack in the name of ISIS.

ABC7ZNY reports that Chudhary, a U.S. citizen born in Pakistan, was arrested Thursday at a Flushing shopping center after the undercover agent who he was talking to in the chatroom met up with him to deliver the knife:

The FBI says a 19-year-old wanted to carry out an attack on the World’s Fair Marina and Promenade in Queens, New York in the name of ISIS. According to the criminal complaint, the teenager said he wanted to know the best way to make a bomb “swift with no traces left behind.”

The neighbors were shocked at the arrest of the wannabe terrorist. Isn’t it the way this always ends?

Just recently two women were also in hot water over their plan to help ISIS.

Do you think the authorties could do more to root out ISIS in America? What would you do?
