Tucker Carlson hit the nail on the head tonight with his opening commentary. He’s been in Hungary for a week and sees the closed border, clean streets, and low crime. He asks, “Why can’t we have this in America?”

The answer…”Our leaders don’t want to have it. They benefit from the chaos and the pain of illegal immigration. When the rule of law collapses, they have more power.” – Tucker Carlson

Carlson then goes to Fox News reporter Bill Mellugin in Texas. He reports on the chaos from the invasion at the border that’s in complete contrast to Hungary’s border.

The leader of Hungary is Victor Orban, who refuses to have open borders (see below). Prime Minister Orban built a border fence when all of Europe accepted illegal immigrants from third-world countries (see below).

He refused to back down to the European Union while Germany’s Angela Merkel ruined her country with open borders.

“When the rule of law collapses, Democrats gain more power. That is why we have open borders.” Tucker Carlson

Orban famously pushed back on attempts to have him accept illegals:

Orbán told the Hungarian parliament that his country “will not give in to blackmail from Brussels and we reject the mandatory relocation quota.”

His comments came as the European Commission voted to launch infringement proceedings against the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary for not taking in refugees under a mandatory 2015 quota system advocated by Germany that aimed to relocate 160,000 refugees across the Continent.

Hungary’s badass Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has consistently stood up to leftist EU bullies who are demanding that all EU nations take their “fair share” of the mass influx of mostly Muslim refugees.

“We shall not allow others to tell us whom we can let into our home and country, whom we can live alongside.” – Prime Minister Viktor Orbán

East European leaders, particularly Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, have repeatedly railed against the EU resettlement plan.
