While the media tries to drive the narrative (see below) on what happened on the call between Ukrainian President Zelenskiy and President Trump, Zelenskiy set the record straight today during a press conference with President Trump:
President Trump met with the President of Ukraine who backed up the claim by Trump that the president did not pressure him to investigate Biden and his son:
Ukrainian Pres. Zelenskiy says “nobody pushed me” to investigate Biden and his son.
He says the call with Trump was “a good phone call.”
“It was normal.”
“We spoke about many things.”

THE MEDIA DRIVES THE NARRATIVE ON TRUMP AND UKRAINE:
Several news outlets including Fox News were reporting on the “favor” line from the Ukraine transcript but did not include that the VERY NEXT SENTENCE about wanting an investigation into meddling in the 2016 election.
All of the new outlets below are misleading their viewers.
It’s right in the transcript but they omitted it.
CNN and then Fox News:
Here's Fox News Shep Smith going straight from "favor" to Biden and omitting a pretty critical 500+ word part of the transcript.
The "favor" was looking into 2016 election meddling. Not Biden. Why no mention of this? pic.twitter.com/T0rlpOSvTd

MSNBC AND THEN CNN AGAIN:
Hey look, CNN just did it again.
Again, this is not an accurate reading of the transcript. pic.twitter.com/0vDmGSD2ma
