Joe Biden met with two Chines energy executives tied to his son’s company in the West Wing while serving as VP

As Vice President, Joe Biden met with business partners of his son, Hunter Biden, frequently–15 times in total–despite claiming not to have any knowledge, nor a hand in, his son’s business dealings.

Of such meetings, one was with two Chinese energy executives with the company Wanxiang, in the West Wing during July of 2014.

The two Chinese executives had ties to Hunter Biden’s company, Seneca Global Advisors.

From the Daily Mail:

Executives for Chinese energy company Wanxiang secured a meeting with the vice president in the West Wing in July 2014 with just one day’s notice, according to White House visitor logs.

A client of Hunter’s company Seneca Global Advisors partnered with Wanxiang in 2012 on a $1.25billion natural gas plant in China.

The ceremony for the signing of the deal between Hunter’s client GreatPoint Energy and Wanxiang was attended by then Chinese vice president Xi Jinping.

Hunter also had invested in a car company, Fisker, through his firm. The company went bankrupt in 2013 and was later bought by Wanxiang.

The younger Biden had purchased a sports car from Fisker for $142,300, and four days after the meeting between Wanxiang’s American president Pin Ni and then-VP Joe Biden, Ni offered via email to service Hunter’s car.

“Last Friday when we visited DC, I heard that your Fisker is out of order and could not get serviced. Sorry,” Ni wrote.

“It would be our honor to get your Fisker fixed… I would like to give you a call to see what we could do as next step.”

“It would be our great honor to welcome you to visit Fisker or Wanxiang at any time.”

Hunter Biden’s firm oversaw a $1.25 billion deal involving Wanxiang.

Although Joe Biden is on record meeting with the Chinese executives who did business with his son Hunter, as well as 14 other meetings with business associates of the latter, he still denies any knowledge or involvement in his son’s overseas dealings involving China and Ukraine, two nations which Hunter had extensive dealings with and which Joe Biden was obviously aware of as VP.
