During the debate with VP Mike Pence, Senator Kamala Harris tried to wiggle her way out of admitting she said multiple times on the campaign trail that she would ban fracking if elected president.
VP Pence called her out on it:
“Look, Senator Harris, you are entitled to your own opinion, but you’re not entitled to your own facts. You said on multiple occasions when you were running for president that you would ban fracking.”

The truth is that both Harris and Biden said they would ban fracking but tonight the fact-checkers said the Biden /Harris campaign has an “evolving” opinion on fracking…i.e. they’re all over the map with what they’ve said.
When it comes to the issue of fracking, Kamala Harris wasn’t telling the truth on the debate stage.
“July 31, 2019, when asked about that, VP Biden left a very strong impression that fracking would be eliminated.” #VPDebate pic.twitter.com/w5YjRlobxi

Kamala Harris wants this video of her saying "There is no question I'm in favor of banning fracking." off the internet.

It must be nice to be a Democrat where you can always have it both ways. We all know Joe is banning fracking but Kamala can lie about it unchecked other than by @vp. Well done @Mike_Pence!#VPDebates pic.twitter.com/yPhXC8hpP7
