A Washington University student senator in St. Louis was filmed removing 2,977 mini American flags yesterday, which were set out in memory of the 2,977 Americans who lost their lives on the day of the September 11th attacks. This clown, named Fadel Alkilani, did this disgusting act to protest “US wars that have killed 900,000 in the Middle East.”

Nathanial Hope, a member of the College Republicans, filmed the encounter. When confronted, Alkilani asked Hope who he was. Alkilani allegedly attempted to vandalize the memorial the night before but was stopped by police, according to students familiar with the event.

Andy Ngo reported on the event and was able to find out more information about Alkilani.

Washington University officially condemned his actions in a statement, but Alkilani remains defiant and has defended his actions.
