The freshman US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is a Muslim Somali immigrant, who hasn’t made any secret about her feelings for Israel. Omar and her fellow freshman Congresswoman, Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), a Palestinian-American Muslim from Dearborn, MI, are really stirring it up in Washington, leaving many to wonder if their objective is to help the Americans who elected them or the Palestinians defeat Israel?
Today, CNN caught up with Congresswoman Ilhan Omar in Washington, the reporter asked Omar why she supports BDS? The Muslim lawmaker, who tweeted about how Israel has “hypnotized the world,” asking “Allah” to “awaken the people and help them see the evil doings of Israel” (see tweet below) literally ran away when she was asked about her support for the anti-Israel movement.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) is a movement created to end international support for and to punish Israel.

According to Fox News, Congressman Lee Zeldin in a Sunday interview addressed his recent spat with Congresswoman Ilhan Omar over her support of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement and comments she made about Israel.
“We have a committee that is responsible for overseeing American foreign policy, and it’s concerning that someone who would be undercutting so much of what’s best for U.S. foreign policy would be overseeing it. So that’s concerning,” Zeldin said during his appearance on “Fox & Friends” Sunday. “We need to combat anti-Semitism, but the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement isn’t just criticism of the Israeli government for policies, it has evolved into blatant anti-Semitism and that goes all the way back to the founder of it who was clearly anti-Semitic.”
