A bus driver/aide in Martin County, Flordia is in hot water after an incident between the aide and a student was caught on video. The aide became enraged when a student came on the bus wearing a MAGA hat for ‘wear a hat to school day.’ The video shows the woman screaming at the student and then grabbing his hat from his head.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office is now looking into whether the bus aide committed a crime after the family of the student filed a police report.

Gunnar Johansson, a student at Hidden Oaks Middle School, decided to wear the MAGA hat on ‘hat day’ “to show my pride in Trump America.” Any student could wear a hat if they donated to the March of Dimes. The school has no policy against wearing political attire, so Johansson was well within his right to wear his MAGA hat.

Johansson told WPTV what happened:

As soon as he boarded the bus the aide started in on Johansson:

“Boy, if you don’t take that hat off this bus… take it off. Take that hat off… take that hat off…”

“I was really confused; I was like ‘I can’t wear this?’ “Johansson said.

The bus aide kept telling the student to take the hat off.

“She, like, threatened me with a referral and threatened to turn the bus around. I said ‘write me up; I didn’t do anything wrong,’ and then she yanked my hat off. It was crazy.”

Johansson took his hat off for the remainder of the trip to school.

After receiving numerous texts from students on the bus, Johansson’s mother, Jackie Putt, went straight to the school to find out what happened to her son:

“I immediately went to the school. I needed to know what my son just went through and what she did to my son.”

Putt spoke with the principal and had her son write down everything he remembered about the incident.

She decided to file a police report against the aide. The investigation into what happened is ongoing.

Pratt is proud of how her son handled the incident:

“We all have a right to who we want to vote for; this is America.”

Johansson said, “Stand up for what you believe in.”

This is one more case of bullying and harassment of Trump supporters. Stand up to this! The left wants to make wearing MAGA gear into a bad thing, but it’s time to defy the narrative they’re pushing against Trump supporters.

We’d like to know-Do you proudly wear your MAGA gear or are you afraid to wear it in public?
