James Comey pleads ignorance on the word “spying” and it’s obvious he’s trapped. One big problem is that James Clapper even used the word “spying” during an appearance on ‘The View’ last year (see video and transcript below). He even agreed with Joy Behar who said the Trump should be “happy” that a “spy” was placed in the campaign.

In the video below Comey claims he’s never thought of electronic surveillance as spying and has no clue what Barr meant by saying there was spying:

“With respect to Barr’s comments, I really don’t know what he’s talking about when he talks about spying on the campaign. It’s concerning, because the FBI, the Department of Justice conduct court-ordered electronic surveillance. I have never thought of that as spying. If the attorney general has come to the belief that that should be called spying, wow, that’s going to require a whole lot of conversations inside the Department of Justice.”

He says, “it’s concerning” in reference to Comey claiming he really doesn’t know what Barr is talking about when he says “spying” on a campaign. This is exactly what Comey did during testimony on the Hill.

Watch Clapper call it “spying”:

May 22, 2018: Clapper says Trump “should be happy” his campaign was being spied on:

CLAPPER SAYS THEY WERE SPYING: We “were spying on…a term I don’t particularly like…on what the Russians were doing, trying to understand were the Russians infiltrating, trying to gain access, trying to gain leverage.”

BEHAR SAYS TRUMP SHOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE SPYING: : “So why didn’t he like that? He should be happy.

CLAPPER REPLIES: “He should be. Russia…and this is one of the reasons I wrote my book, was the threat that Russia poses because they are bent on undermining our system and that’s what they did and had a lot of success during the course of the election.”

Clapper, Comey, and Brennan are all flailing around pleading ignorance and trying to make Attorney General Barr into a biased investigator.
