Only Socialist Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez could make conservatives feel sorry for Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

“I don’t think most people want to live in a world where you can only post things that tech companies judge to be 100% true,” Zuckerberg said during a nearly 40-minute speech last week at Georgetown University last week.

CNET – Zuckerberg’s remarks highlighted the social network’s controversial approach to political speech as it tries to strike a balance between free speech and combating misinformation during elections. They could also escalate tensions between Facebook and politicians as the 2020 campaign season heats up. Democrats and civil rights groups swiftly criticized Zuckerberg’s speech, arguing that the company hasn’t learned from its past mistakes.

“People no longer have to rely on traditional gatekeepers,” Zuckerberg said. “I actually believe that the much bigger story is how much these platforms have decentralized power by putting it directly into people’s hands.”

During a hearing before the House Financial Services Committee today, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the congresswoman, with an IQ of a cucumber, questioned the CEO of Facebook about the practice of allowing politicians to “lie” in ads running on their social media platform.

AOC used her allotted time to question Zuckerberg about how not fact-checking ads on his platform could affect the outcome of future elections. She accused Facebook of using the Daily Caller as a fact-checker for their platform, a publication she charged, without any evidence, of “having ties to white supremacy.” During her questioning of the Facebook CEO, she also falsely claimed that Facebook’s relationship with Cambridge Analytica had “catastrophic impacts on the 2016 election.” Perhaps the brilliant congresswoman would like to share the data she has proving her accusation of the results of the 2016 election being affected by Cambridge Analytica?

After President Trump’s inauguration, our 100 Percent Fed Up Facebook page, with almost 1.7 million viewers, lost over 93% of our traffic. We’re no fans of Facebook’s censorship tactics that have been used against conservative sites like ours and like The Gateway Pundit, who had a huge influence on voters in the 2016 election, but we have to admit, we almost felt sorry for Mark Zuckerberg, having to sit in that seat and take AOC seriously during her ridiculous questions and false accusations. Someone should have been fact-checking AOC during her questions to Zuckerberg. The results would have been humiliating for the dingbat, Socialist Congresswoman, who regularly spews mistruths as part of the Left’s propaganda campaign.
