The physical altercation erupted around 5 p.m. after Erica’s uninvited grandmother, Gwen Carr, who is Eric’s mother, arrived to pay her respects at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Harlem.
Mourners said Carr was not invited to the funeral. That caused some volatility inside that erupted into the fight. –True Pundit

Many people were told to spill out into the street, and police officers went inside. Dozens of people were waiting to enter the church to pay their respects after the fight but, at the time of this writing, have been barred from entering.

“Democracy Now” posted a picture of the NYPD making an arrest of a protester. Of course, they offered no details about why the protester was being arrested, because, who cares? The important point is, that the men in blue who risk their lives to keep total strangers safe are the bad guys.
Does anyone want to bet that the police officers assigned to this detail would rather be just about anywhere else in the city?
