Emails recovered from Hunter Biden’s laptop have revealed that Joe Biden wrote a college recommendation letter for the son of Hunter’s Chinese business partner after his time as Vice President. However, when asked about this at a press briefing, Jen Psaki refused to acknowledge any of the facts presented to her.

In an email sent to Hunter and his business associates in 2017, the CEO of Chinese investment firm BHR Jonathan Li wrote,

“Gentlemen, please find the attached resume of my son, Chris Li. He is applying the following colleges for this year.”

Li then proceeded to list Brown University, Cornell University, and New York University.

The following month, Hunter’s business associate Eric Scherwin wrote Li back, saying,

“Jonathan, Hunter asked me to send you a copy of the recommendation letter that he asked his father to write on behalf of Christopher for Brown University. The original is being FedExed to Dr. Paxson directly at Brown.”

Although Biden has repeatedly denied having any involvement in his son’s overseas business activities, this directly suggests otherwise.

At a press briefing on Wednesday, Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked Jen Psaki about this recommendation letter and Biden’s ties to Hunter’s business in China.

“[W]as it common for President Biden to do favors for Hunter Biden’s international business partners like writing college recommendations for their kids?” Doocy asked.

“I have — I’ve seen the report,” said Psaki. “I have no confirmation or comments on a report about whether or not the President, when he was a private citizen, wrote a college recommendation letter for an individual.”

Psaki continues to deny the existence of this letter, even though the emails have been released from Hunter Biden’s personal laptop.

Doocy continued to press for answers, saying, “A college recommendation letter, though, from, at the time, a former Vice President would be a big deal.  So, do we know what the President might have gotten in return for doing a favor like that?”

“Again, I have no confirmation of any recommendation letter the President wrote when he was a private citizen — by the way, not serving in public office.  That’s even in the report,” said Psaki, again refusing to give any comment on the touchy matter.

“But he’s the President now, and you’re his spokesperson,” Doocy insisted.

“Correct,” replied the Press Secretary. “And he was not the President at the time of this report.”

“So, there’s evidence that the President, at one point, was officemates with Hunter and his brother Jim here in D.C.,” Doocy pointed out.

Psaki denied this fact, saying, “That’s not accurate.”

“That is not accurate?” questioned Doocy. “So, when Hunter Biden is emailing a landlord, ‘Please have keys made available for new officemates — Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Jim Biden,’ that — you’re disputing it?”

“They were not officemates, no,” maintained Psaki, failing to address the facts presented by Doocy.
