Donald Trump announced Thursday at a press conference that he agreed to three debates against Kamala Harris.

He agreed to debate Harris on ABCNBC, and Fox News.

The dates include the following:

  • September 4th
  • September 10th
  • September 25th

Kamala Harris has agreed to the September 10th debate on ABC News.

From POLITICO:

At a rare press conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, Trump added that he would participate in an additional debate on Sept. 25 on NBC, with a “fairly full agreement” in place, and also reiterated his support for a debate on Fox News on Sept. 4. In his remarks, Trump confused the dates for the ABC and NBC debates, though a spokesperson later clarified his comments.

Harris’ campaign previously agreed to ABC’s debate proposal after President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the race. But the vice president hasn’t agreed to either the Fox News date, which Trump had previously floated, or the NBC News debate, which Trump suggested for the first time on Thursday.

“I hear that Donald Trump has finally committed to debating me on September 10. I look forward to it,” Harris commented.

“Donald Trump agreed to three debates. Will you be participating in all three?” a reporter asked Harris.

“I have always been on record. I am looking forward to debating Donald Trump and we have a date of September 10. I hear he’s finally committed to it and I’m looking forward to it,” Harris replied.

“What about the other two?” the reporter asked.

Harris ignored the follow-up question.

The Post Millennial reports:

Earlier on Thursday, in a press conference, something Harris has failed to hold in the nearly 20 days since she’s emerged as the head of the Dem ticket, Trump said that he had agreed to three debates, each one hosted by a different television network.

“So we have those three dates and those networks, they’re very anxiously awaiting that date and those dates,” Trump told reporters at Mar-a-Lago. “We have spoken to the heads of the network and it’s all been confirmed.”

The debate set for Sept. 10 was one that Trump agreed to with Joe Biden, who has since been removed from the ticket and replaced by his second-in-command Harris. Harris has insisted that Trump keep to the debate scheduled against Biden, despite the switcheroo.

Harris has not agreed to the other two debates, though the Trump camp has said that they want more opportunities to contrast themselves to the vice president than less. Harris also has not given a press conference nor has she given any interviews to press. She has, however, delivered her stump speech many times.

The Harris campaign confirmed they will not agree to the September 4th debate on Fox News.

“@VP Harris will not agree to the September 4th Fox debate, campaign official tells me. Says future debates are contingent on Trump showing up to @ABC debate on Sept 10th. Willing to have convos before Sept 10 about debates after that date. So ABC will have 1st Harris/Trump debate,” ABC News Senior White House Correspondent Selina Wang said.
