They took a very messy path, but Charles and his second wife, Camilla, were finally coronated inside Westminster Abbey.
Britain’s new king and queen were all smiles as their golden carriage passed through throngs of supporters who appeared to have forgiven the pair for their humiliating affair with Britain’s new queen while he was married to the beloved Princess Diana.
King Charles’s crowning was the first coronation since 1953.
Queen Elizabeth, the longest-serving monarch in the UK, died on September 8, 2022. She served as Queen of England for 70 years.
Camilla, who is the love of Charles’s life, was given permission to accept the title of Queen Consort by Queen Elizabeth shortly before her death.
Before her passing, she endured the horrible scandal of her son, Andrew, who was accused of sexual assault against young women on his good friend Jeffrey Epstein’s private island. The estranged son attended his brother Charle’s coronation.
The former prince, Harry, son of the new King of England, was not part of the royal entourage, as he also embarrassed the Royal family when he and his unpopular, B-actress wife, Meghan Markle, left the Royal family and almost immediately began trashing the Royal family, including accusing them of racism. Harry attended the coronation alone, as his wife Meghan Markle stayed back in their California home.
Princess Anne, the younger sister of Charles, followed her brother’s carriage on horseback alongside the Colonel of the Coldstream Guards and the Master of the Horse.

Many were praising Princess Anne on social media for placing the feather on her cap directly in front of the former prince, Harry, who is not very popular in England at the moment.

Charles became the 40th reigning sovereign to be crowned at Westminster Abbey in a ceremony dating back to William the Conqueror in 1066 when Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby placed St Edward’s Crown on his head.
Queen Camilla’s mother walked out of Westminster Abby, where the Gold State Coach waited for the newly coronated couple.

In an eerie video showing the now-deceased Princess Diana, who was tortured by her husband’s affair with then-Camilla Bowles, she was asked if she thought she would ever be queen; she told the interviewer, “No, I don’t—no.”
