Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the Democrat/Marxist freshman congresswoman from Detroit and her fellow “squad” member, Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass) have introduced a radical bill in Congress that would radically overhaul the criminal justice system by dismantling police departments across the United States.

Less than 15 miles outside of Rashida Tlaib’s district (which includes the crime-ridden city of Detroit,) Sterling Heights Police Officer Maciejewski wasn’t worried about how he and his department are being targeted by the radical congresswoman, he was too busy saving lives.

Officer Maciejewski was called to a home of a choking baby by the family. When he arrived on the scene, the highly trained Sterling Heights Police officer calmly took the baby from the hysterical mom and began to perform life-saving first aid on the choking infant.

The Sterling Heights Police Department reported about the incident on Facebook:

Upon pulling up to the home, the officer was rushed by the family who was holding their three-week-old baby girl, who was not breathing. Ofc. Maciejewski calmly takes the baby in his arms and performs back thrusts in attempts to clear the baby’s airway. When doing so, the baby coughs up the obstruction and begins to cry. The baby was then turned over to the Sterling Heights Fire Department who transported the baby to the hospital for evaluation.

If it wasn’t for Ofc. Maciejewski’s quick, calm, lifesaving actions, the outcome of this incident could have been tragically different. Not only did the officer save the baby, but the officer did an outstanding job consoling the family.
