MSNBC’s panel panicked yesterday (video below) when Amazon announced they were pulling out of a deal to build headquarters in New York. Panelist Donny Deutsch was especially upset with his claim that the new progressives like Ocasio Cortez are “going to hand the presidency back to Donald Trump.”

All of the panelists hit on the key opposition in the fight against Amazon…Newly elected Socialist Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

Ocasio Cortez and all of the other oppositionists to Amazon were celebrating yesterday when Amazon announced they were canceling their $27 billion investment and 25,000 jobs explosion for New York.

It’s hard to believe that Ocasio Cortez has a degree in economics from Boston U because of her lack of knowledge about the benefits of bringing in a company like Amazon to New York. The loss of Amazon is a big one, but now other companies considering locating there will think twice now because of the backlash Amazon received by people like Ocasio Cortez.

The video below shows every single panelist lashing out at the leftists who opposed the Amazon deal. Donny Deutsch mentions Andrew Sorkin’s tweet from earlier in the day about how ignorant some (Ocasio Cortez) are about the economics of a tax incentive of $3 billion:

There is a financial literacy epidemic in America.

Quick lesson: NYC wasn’t handing cash to Amazon. It was an incentive program based on job creation, producing tax revenue.

There isn’t a $3 billion pile of money that can now be spent on subways or education.

It’s not often that leftists get it right on the economy, but Andrew Ross Sorkin is correct in stating that the $3 billion was a tax incentive based on job creation and producing tax revenue.

The MSNBC panel is beside themselves with worry and angry at Ocasio Cortez for possibly paving the way for a second Trump term as president:

“I was so out of my mind; my head was exploding.”
