During the 2012 Democrat convention, leftists booed God and in 2016 they heckled a preacher during an opening prayer. God just isn’t important to the Marxist Democrats.

A DNC moderator this week omitted “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance during the Democratic Convention Caucus and Council Meeting with Muslim Delegates and Allies Assembly.

Delegate AJ Durrani completely omitted “under God” — “I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all,” he said.

According to his biography on Houston In Action, AJ Durrani is a Houston-area political grassroots community organizer and Co-Chair of eMgage-USA. eMgage is a national organization established in 2009 that “empowers and trains its constituents in under-represented MASA (Muslim, Arab, South Asian) communities in TX, FL, MI, PA, NY, VA to be engaged and active citizens via direct grassroots involvement in the American political spectrum.” He is also the Chairman of eMgage-TX Board.

AJ was elected to the Democratic National Committee as a Super Delegate for the 2016-2020 term. He is the first Asian or Muslim elected to the DNC from Texas.

Further, he is a board member of the Islamic Education Institute of Texas (IEIT), a non-profit education entity that “has been in operation since 1992 and currently operates six fulltime private Islamic schools in the Houston area.” Within IEIT, he is Chairman of ILM Academy Advisory Panel. IEIT is a subsidiary of the Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH) in which he held board positions for over 10 years.

Durrani was also the center of a potential convention battle in early March. As state primaries were rounding out and a plethora of candidates continued to stick in the race, if no Democratic candidate got a majority once all the primaries are over, DNC Automatic Delegates (a superdelegate’s formal name) are thrust into the process, potentially providing the decisive votes at the convention.

AJ Durrani is one of them. Durrani, a proud Texas Democrat, was elected to the position in 2016. The summer’s convention in Milwaukee will be his first as a “superdelegate,” according to ABC 13.

Via ABC 13:

When we caught up with Durrani on Super Tuesday, Durrani told us he hasn’t made up his mind on who he would vote for. He did tell ABC13’s Ted Oberg he does not feel compelled to vote for the candidate with the most votes if he or she is short of a majority. So, he will vote for whoever he thinks is best. It’s a lot of political pressure, but not many perks. Superdelegates have to pay their own way to the convention, and pay for their own food and drinks.

AJ Durrani’s omission of “under God” is only one of many fails from this week’s failed Democratic Convention.
