CBS News is reporting on drones flying above New York parks that are now monitoring coronavirus distancing requirements and warning residents to comply.

The drones use speakers to broadcast warnings of violations to non-compliant people.

A drone was seen flying over a Manhattan park on Saturday, urging pedestrians to “maintain social distancing.”

THE ANNOUNCEMENT: “This is the anti-COVID19 volunteer task force. Please maintain a social distance of at least six feet. Again, please maintain social distancing. Please help stop the spread of this virus. Reduce the death toll and save lives. For your own safety and your family’s safety please maintain social distancing. Thank you for your cooperation. We are all in this together.”

And ankle monitors for people who refuse to self-quarantine?

Kentucky – Despite Governor Andy Beshear ordering all Kentucky residents to stay at home to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, some in Louisville are reportedly refusing to self-quarantine.

As a response, Jefferson Circuit Court judge Angela Bisig is ordering ankle monitors for those who were exposed to the coronavirus but who won’t stay at home.
